What Is Cookie Run?
Cookie Run is a series that started off of as a mobile endless runner based off a gingerbread man escaping the witch's oven. That game was released as just Ovenbreak on the App Store in 2009, not to be confused with Cookie Run Ovenbreak released in 2016.
Branching off from the original Ovenbreak, in the Cookie Run franchise the other games are Kakao, Ovenbreak 2016, Puzzle World, Kingdom, Witch's Castle and Tower of Adventures.
As much as I love CR, the only games that i actively play are Kingdom and on occasion Ovenbreak (got an apple phone and didn't wanna risk not being able to transfer back to android so i only play OB on my PC) so sadly I won't have much to say at this time about Kakao, PW, WC and TOA.
I have played Tower of Adventures for the Cream Soda Cookie rewards in Kingdom and didn't like the gameplay of TOA so I don't really have much to say on that game

Ovenbreak
Ovenbreak, or OB for short, as mentioned above originally started as and endless runner with only two cookies being playable which are GingerBrave and Dozer. OB had many updates untill in 2012 after the summer Skittles update the developers Devsisters released Ovenbreak 2. Comparing OB 1 and 2 they are fundamentally the same game as they both were endless runners focusing on getting the highest score possible.

OB 2 had GingerBrave from the previous game playable but not Dozer, instead the devs added GingerBright, GingerBerry, Ginger Claus, GingerBoogie, GingerBold, and NinjaBread. OB 2 is also the game that introduces combi pets into the game but in this game cookies are called breakers and pets are called charms.
In 2013 online functionality for OB2 was shut down but players were still able to play offline, they just couldn't recieve or recover their hearts. After the de-listing and shutdown of online services in 2013, Devsisters announced in 2015 that they were working on a succesor which would be releasing in 2016 which is what we now know as Ovenbreak.

Kingdom
Cookie Run Kingdom, or CRK for short is an action roleplaying game released in January of 2021. The main modes in the game are story mode, arena mode, and the cake tower. in addition to these modes there is also the ability to build and decorate your kingdom. (future Averie insert an image soon)
In the main game you start out with GingerBrave, Strawberry Cookie, Wizard Cookie, Custard Cookie III and Chili Pepper Cookie in your team and then after clearing enough of the story, you unlock the cookie gacha.
Another part of the game is the Guild, Guild Battle, and Cookie Alliance. In my opinion, other than the guild battle and perks you can get for your cookies through being in a guild, there isn't much to do with guilds, but that may just be because im in a dead guid LOL.
Kingdom is very lore heavy but it should be known that CRK and OB aren't related lore wise, I believe they happen on a different timeline. I'll go into depth about the lore of CRK and OB on the bottom of the page.
How Did I Get Into The Game?
I got into the game by playing the original Ovenbreak back on my iPod back in 2011 as just a game to pass the time, I then got back into the game in 2016 when the current OB was released and was really into it.
I then found out about CRK through some advertisments through OB and I started playing during the Interdimensional Super Mayhem update in 2021 and stopped playing the game for a while a bit after Dark Cacao Cookie's update in around 2022 and returned at the end of the Game of Truth and Deceit update. As of writing this the next update is the summer update part 2 which is making one of my fav cookies Lime Cookie playable in CRK (⌒‿⌒)
